This hand made item is designed and made from local African materials and feature innovations in tie-dye, screen print and batik.  This item is part of a special collection of hand made, fair trade home and decor items produced in the African countries of Kenya and Uganda in efforts to enable a sustainable living and learning opportunity for women.  Each woman gains experience in sewing, quilting, tie dye, bookkeeping, quality control, leadership and design.   Each product sold contributes to the consistent income of the woman who made it.
